The MCHS Stampede Club offers Ten $1,000 scholarships each year to outstanding graduating student athletes on their achievements in the classroom, in their sport(s) and in the community.. The selection process is an anonymous evaluation process based on 5 key criteria: athletic team participation, athletic honors, GPA, community service and a student written essay.
2023 Stampede Club Scholarship applications will be available and accepted in the Spring of 2023! Google doc link here. Applications may be submitted to Coach Eason via email at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, April 28, 2023.
MCHS senior student athletes are encouraged to apply for one of ten $1,000 Stampede Club Scholarships awarded annually. Check back in fall/winter for applications.
Suggestions for completing the essay portion of the scholarship application: Think about what you have done these last four years that is inspiring you to go to college. What goals have you set for yourself? What strengths and interests led you to this decision? Elaborate on what you want to accomplish in your life. Spend time and thought on your essay. Type your essay. Ask an adult to proof your essay. Edit your writing.
